Daryl, If your site is storing more than the Manifest Quantity as prescribed in Table 1 of Schedule 5 of the OH&S Amendment (Dangerous Goods) Regulation 2005 then you must provide an Emergency Plan. the emergency Plan has to be endorsed by the NSW Fire Brigades, they do have a template on their website. Check and see if you have more than 2500 litres of Class 3 PG II (Flammable liquids such as unleaded petrol ) on the site, as an example. As a TAFE site you have the responsibility for the safety of a large body of people, an Emergency Plan and Evacuation Plan is a must have. Barry Boné |
